Idea generation, team collaboration, mental models, creativity, visual reasoning, the use of metaphors, visual analogies, design scenarios, and design patterns as cognitive strategies for design problem solving.
(ii) Design Education. The design studio pedagogy – mainly architecture, and the study of student-teacher interactions during the design critique.
(iii) Design and Environmental Psychology. The domain centers on human-environment interactions from a socio-psychological perspective.
