Our lab investigates the intricate mechanisms of visual processing, starting with the retina and extending to downstream visual centers. We focus on understanding how specific retinal neurons encode distinct properties of the visual scene and how this information is transmitted to influence visually guided behaviors. By integrating cutting-edge techniques, our research bridges cellular neuroscience with systems-level insights, offering a unique opportunity for postdocs to explore the dynamic interplay between neural circuits and behavior.
