My research focuses on religion, identity, and politics in modern Turkey and the Middle East, with emphasis on Islamic movements (especially the Gülen movement), antisemitism, Jewish life, and interfaith diplomacy. I also explore satire, memory, and minority politics under authoritarian regimes, using interdisciplinary methods to examine how religion and power shape national narratives and transnational relations.
