Research Interests
Trained at Harvard, Cambridge, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, I am a professor in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at Hebrew University, specializing in the fascinating world of Arabic-speaking Jewish communities. My research sheds light on the medieval and early modern periods, especially through the discovery and interpretation of Judeo-Arabic manuscripts in Cairo Genizah collections.
