We harness stem cell biology and nuclear reprogramming techniques to convert skin fibroblasts into medically-relevant cell types for the clinic. In addition, we are interested in understanding how cell fate decisions are made during embryonic development and what are the elements that regulate cell plasticity in “terminally” differentiated cells.
