We are a multidisciplinary group, using engineering tools for understanding human physiology and disease. We develop and use organs-on-chips system to model human tissues and obtain functional readouts to assess tissue function.
We are interested in studying organ-organ interactions via extracellular vesicles (EVs), and especially how homeostasis is regulated by vascular EVs under normal conditions and during metabolic stress.
We hope to use this knowledge to engineer bio-inspired therapeutics.
