We develop magnetic nanomaterials for modulation of cells and for achieving remote control on organ function. Moreover, we design polymeric nanocomposites for regenerative medicine and for drug delivery.
For example, we target heat sensitive ion channels by applying alternating magnetic fields on magnetic nanoparticles. Our work spans from materials design, through development of electromagnetic coils and demonstration in biological applications.
