Malignant gliomas are primary brain tumors and among the deadliest human cancers which can occur both in children and adults. In children, these tumors grow in specific places within the brain. In older children and young adults, they typically develop in the cortex. However, in younger children, gliomas are more commonly developed in the brain stem. In our work, we study the cross-talk between glial cells in the brain stem and their interaction with gliomas.
