My research is in the areas of mathematical statistics and information theory. I focus on developing methods in these areas that can be applied to language modeling and analyzing large datasets. I specialize in learning and signal detection problems in high-dimensional and noisy environments. My work usually combines theoretic derivation with ambitious simulation and data science projects.
