Research Interests
We study how cognitive abilities arise from interactions between neurons. Our lab investigates how collective neural activity supports decision-making and memory in mice performing complex tasks involving choice, navigation, and short-term memory. Using advanced electrophysiology, imaging, and optogenetics with computational modeling, we both record and manipulate neural dynamics. We also explore how brain networks reorganize during neurodegeneration and after stroke.
