My general research areas are: macroeconomics, industrial organization, time series econometrics, and political economy. My current research interests include: price rigidity/flexibility, sticky prices, cost of price adjustment (menu costs), asymmetric price adjustment, psychological aspects of pricing, price points and 9-ending prices, implicit contracts, non-price adjustment mechanisms, business cycles, economic growth and income convergence, and housing markets.
