We work on: (1) climate–CO2–vegetation systems feedbacks, & (2) urban farming with autonomous systems. We deploy various tools to study these topics in controlled experiments & natural environments, from high-tech sensors, handheld cameras, and cameras/sensors onboard drones & satellites to empirical and complex numerical modeling. We aim to understand climate-environment-vegetation interactions and develop precision agriculture tools to gain more (yield & quality) with less (resources), providing creative solutions to tackle present and future food security challenges.
