The main focus of my research is on the following topics 1. Sustainability developments in the building sector. 2. Multi-scale multi-physics algorithms for analysis of structural systems. 3. Computational mechanics use of in complex engineering problems, especially by using the finite element method.
I propose to advance two fundamental innovations in the building sector: 1) stretch the reinforced concrete load bearing ability with a durability towards 500 years, ; and 2) use of bio-composite materials for the modular construction of the building envelope
