My research is focused on symmetry and chirality, and their relation to the activity and functionality of various molecular systems, from small molecules and up to proteins.

My group develop continuous symmetry and chirality measures for quantitative structural analysis, particularly in cases of approximate symmetry. These are used to explore sources of distortion, and reveal trends of structural change.
