I am a psycholinguist working on sentence processing. In my research, I try to understand how people apply their grammatical knowledge while reading or listening to a sentence word-by-word. I am particularly interested in understanding the usage of abstract syntactic representations in real time processing and the memory mechanisms that mediate this. My work uses various methods from acceptability and offline comprehension to eye-tracking and cognitive modeling.
