This involves gathering useful information on patients, symptoms, diseases, treatments by mining online health communities; and helping heathcare organizations exploit data gathered in the Electronic Health Records of patients, either for individual patient care or for clinical studies. Key techniques involved in this area involve large-language-models fine-tuned in the bio-medical domain to perform tasks such as normalization of clinical notes, summarization of patient information.
