I lead the Laboratory for Bio-inspired and Complex Materials Mechanics (BCMM) at Ariel University. Our research explores how hierarchical structures in biological tissues and soft composites govern mechanical performance, including toughness, resilience, and adaptability. By integrating experimental mechanics, modeling, and fabrication, we develop biomimetic analogs and advanced composites for applications in biomedical implants, soft robotics, and sustainable materials design.
