I’m a senior lecturer at the Ben Gurion University in the Negev, working on statistical physics. My main research interests include the theory of large deviations (rare events) in a broad range of systems from physics, chemistry, biology, ecology and epidemiology, and random matrix theory and its connection to quantum effects observed in cold atoms (in particular, trapped fermions). I am also looking for applications of my research tools to the environment, for instance, to climate systems.
