Research Interests
The quantum properties of the interaction between photons and free electrons (without nuclei) undergoes a scientific revolution, focused on coherence properties.

My research in this field is theoretical and experimental, including:
– Quantum optics with electron beams
– Exchange of quantum information and of phase information (coherence) between electrons and photons
– Nonlinear and transient phenomena in solids
– Quantum materials
– Cathodoluminescence

Additional topics:
– lens-less X-ray imaging
– Magnetism
