Research Interests
Our lab studies the mechanisms that govern glycan immune recognition and responses in animal models and humans, both in vitro and in vivo. We combine glycobiology, immunology, biotechnology, xenotransplantation, cancer research, medicine, and use cutting-edge technologies within these disciplines, including in silico and in vitro antibody engineering, cell and gene therapy, glycan microarray and glyco-nanotechnology. As members of the Cancer Biology Research Center (CBRC), we also investigate cancer prevention, diagnostics and therapy.
