My studies in the Plant Sciences began during the paradigm shift to a systems approach in investigating the complexity of Plant metabolism and Plant environment interaction. My research projects reflect my motivation to improve crop nutritional-value/yield with emphasis on plant-environment interaction in a changing climate. I make use of omics technologies and integrative tools in desert-agriculture as a model for potential solutions to cope with future climate scenario.
