Research Interests
My scientific interests are primarily in the area of plant innate immunity signaling and plant genetics.
In the last years, we apply synthetic biology in combination with electronics (bio-convergence tools), to develop biosensors for agriculture. We study development of a plant-based biochip system and the Internet of Things for sensing various stresses in plants.
