Prof. Azi Lev-On is a visiting professor in the Manipal Institute of Communication (2024-5), and a faculty member in the School of Communication in Ariel University. His research focuses on the social and political uses and impact of the Internet and social media, and particularly on their affordances for and usage by citizens in terms of speech and action, and the corresponding institutional responses. His latest book: “The murder of Tair Rada and the Roman Zadorov affair: Establishment, justice, citizens and social media” was published by Yedioth Books (2023).
