Research Interests
I am a theoretical physicist working in the areas of nonlinear optics, matter waves (Bose-Einstein condensates), theory of nonlinear waves, solitons, and vortex dynamics, lattice dynamics, dissipative structures and related areas. I personally work chiefly by means of analytical methods, and collaborate with researchers running experimental and theoretical studies. Currently, my personal h-index is 83 (Web of Science) / 87 (Scopus) / 97 (Google Scholar).
