We are investigating how microbial communities react to human-made interferences.
We have two broad goals: to understand how changes that are inflicted on the environment from human sources are mediated by microbial communities; and to understand how microbes adapt to these stresses.
We develop computational genomic methods and apply AI algorithms to address these questions. Our approach allows us to gain valuable insights into the complex ecological processes at play and facilitates the development of innovative solutions to mitigate potential ecological disruptions.
