Research Interests
In my lab we study, the interaction between stem cells and their environment in health and disease and develop innovative interventional strategies.
We focus mainly on adult neurogenesis and its implication on cognitive and affective behavior. We apply mainly mesenchymal stem cells and their secretome as vehicles for intervention and therapy, as well as microbiome transplantations and chromatin modifying agents.
