Research Interests
Research in my lab centers around developing the organometallic chemistry of earth-abundant metals to drive sustainable chemistry. In particular we are interested in small molecule activation for selective C-C, C-H, and C-N bond forming reactions via C-H bond activation, cross-coupling, and olefin metathesis with metals such as iron, cobalt and manganese. We are also interested in developing functional models of the active site of enzyme to drive activation of carbon dioxide and dinitrogen for the synthesis of value-added products.
