Research Interests
My research focuses on two main directions: 1) how anthropogenic activities, particularly management and new species introduction, affect ecosystem carbon and nitrogen balances and soil nitrous and nitric oxides emissions in terrestrial ecosystems? and 2) what soil microbial processes and chemo-physical conditions control soil nitrous and nitric oxides emissions?
