The research in my lab is focused on molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying learning and memory. Recently, we have identified new cognitive enhancers or drugs to be used in health and disease and are continuously on the search for additional and to improve such cognitive enhancers. The laboratory contains over 12 researchers (postdocs and PhD students). We use different techniques ranging from functional behavior, cell culture, electrophysiology, imaging, pharmacology, biochemistry, and molecular biology.
