Our lab is dedicated to investigating the regulation of pancreatic beta-cell function and understanding the underlying causes of diabetes. Utilizing state-of-the-art techniques, including transgenic mouse systems, physiological and morphometric analysis, and molecular tools, our team is at the cutting edge of defining cell-cell interactions within the pancreas and how they regulate insulin secretion.
