I am a neuroscientist working at the intersection of psychobiology and health psychology.
Research at our lab examines the role that beliefs, expectations, and mindsets play in shaping how we perceive and respond to the world around us. Building on the placebo effect, we employ psychobiological methods to study mind-brain-body interaction in daily life.
Ultimately, our goals are to understand the biological pathways underlying the mind’s effect on the brain and body, and harness these to enhance health and well-being.
