The research in our group focuses on the development and application of geometric and analytical tools to model and solve problems in soft-matter physics. Of specific interest are the mechanics of granular matter, biological and inanimate cellular tissue, mechanical meta-materials, growth, elasticity, wrinkles and fracture in thin sheets.
