Research Interests
Our lab develops computational methods for improving proteins, focusing on enzymes and antibodies. Methods developed by our lab have become state-of-the-art for optimizing therapeutic enzymes, antibodies, and vaccine immunogens. We combine Rosetta atomistic design calculations, bioinformatics, machine learning and AI in our design algorithms, and conduct wet-lab experiments to test our designs. We are particularly interested in designing enzymes for environmental purposes and therapeutic antibodies.
