My research interests are in the fields of textile reinforced concrete structures, structural health monitoring, development of smart self-sensory concrete structures and stability of shell structures.
I am the head of the Intelligent Structures Laboratory (ISLab), in the National Building Research Institute (NBRI) at the Technion. The ISLab is equipped with all needed equipment for the mechanical testing, including testing machine and state-of-the-art loading and monitoring devices. The research in my group involves theoretical and experimental investigations.
