My scientific activities and interest fall within the scope of soil chemistry and plant nutrition, related to agriculture and the environment. My research includes:
• Iron in the soil-plant system, chemical processes and plant nutrition, and the involvement of natural microbial chelates (siderophores) in Fe processes in the soil and Fe availability to plants.
• Interactions and effects of plant natural chelates (phytosiderophores) on heavy metals (Cd, Pb, Zn, Cu) availability and uptake by plants.
• Quantify redox-related states and geochemical processes in soils;
